Since 2010, Agora Guesthouse has been located in the old city, Sultanahmet. It has been serving as a guesthouse with a terrace restaurant, 10 private guest rooms and 46 bunk beds in 6 dormitory rooms that are modernly desıgned.
Our hotel is just a walk away from the historical attractions such as Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, museum, Spice Bazaar, Galata Tower and Grand Bazaar and it is just 15 minutes away from the shopping and entertainment centers of Istanbul such as Taksim, Nişantaşı, and Cevahir. You can take the tram, metro, ferry or the bus that stops in our immediate vicinity as well as benefit from private transfer service.

You can taste the delicious dishes from the Turkish and world cuisine on our rooftop restaurant which is located on the 4th floor of our hotel with an unobstructed view of the Bosphorous. So far, we have hosted thousands of people from all over the world and from every age group, regardless of language, religion, race or color. We're located in the heart of Istanbul, close to Hagia Sophia church, The Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and Grand Bazaar. We're also just a 15-minute tram ride from/to Taksim area. To get you started, Sultanahmet tram stop is a 5-minute walk from our doorstep. If you're arriving from Istanbul Airport, take the Havaist bus to our nearest stop, then take the tram to Sultanahmet, then cross the main square to find us – it's a 1.5-hour journey at the most.
Rooms and Dorms

Our rooms are bright, modern and air conditioned, with bed linen provided for free and towels that can be rented. Choose a private double or twin room if you want a little extra space, or get social in one of our mixed or female-only dorms. Our beds come with individual curtains, and you'll also have your own free electronic storage locker,
outlet and reading light.
